Order a School Supply Kit
School supply kits are ready to be ordered for next year! Please note that this sale is only for students attending Ashlawn next year as rising K to rising 5th graders! Not Quite New this year! For the second year, we will be including rising K students. Please forward this message to those you know planning to attend Ashlawn next year who do not have siblings currently enrolled!The sale supports the school’s fundraising efforts to provide supplies to teachers and students who need them while eliminating a chore from your list.The sale has begun and runs until June 16th. All proceeds from the sale will go towards purchase of extra kits for the class and supplies for specials. So, spread the word! All purchases are final and no refunds/changes are issued.FAQ about school kits:
- Why should I buy a school kit?
ANSWER: The school kit program is a fundraiser organized by the PTA. The proceeds from the sale go towards buying extra kits for classrooms and supplies for specials – see #7 below). In addition, parents can save time and effort by buying a kit rather than shopping for individual supplies.
2. Do I have to buy a school kit?
ANSWER: NO! This is an optional fundraiser. You are always welcome to purchase supplies on your own. The order information sheet you will be picking up will have the supplies list, which you can buy on your own for next year. The list will also be posted up on Ashlawn Elementary School website.
3. When do I need to order a kit?
ANSWER: Orders must be placed by July 1st to be included in the sale. Orders are conducted online only. If you have any issues with ordering online or know someone who does, please let me know.
4. How will I get my school kit?
ANSWER: The school kit will be in your child’s homeroom class on the first day of school. So you won’t even need to carry your items to school!
5. I would like to donate towards purchasing supply kits for students who may not otherwise be able to afford supplies.
ANSWER: There is an option to do that when you buy your kit. We are also using proceeds to purchase additional kits and supplies.
