Virginia Preschool Initiative (VPI)

Ms. Bobbie Moyer

I obtained a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education from Miami University (of Ohio), an M.A. in Early Childhood Special Education from George Washington University, and a Reading Endorsement from University of Virginia.  As a four-year old I checked my favorite book, Angus and the Ducks, out of the library every week for months, much to my brother’s dismay. One of my favorite parts of teaching is connecting children with that special book that leads to a life-long love of reading.  In addition to reading, I enjoy hiking, camping, and spending time with my family and friends.

Ms. Millie Jimenez

My name is Millie Jimenez. I have an associates degree in Early Childhood Education, bachelors in Psychology and masters in Special Education, Early Childhood. I I enjoy being out exploring, shopping, eating out and Latin dancing! My favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar because it has a variety of concepts. My favorite part of teaching at Ashlawn is being surrounded by loving co-workers and students and feeling a sense of family unity.
